Anti-KSEZ farmers attempts to gherao CM
Kakinada, Aug 20 (UNI) Police today foiled a bid of the Anti-KSEZ farmers to gherao Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy just before he was proceeding to the helipad at the district sports stadium here.
The slogan shouting farmers were pushed aside by the police to make way for the Chief Minister.
Chinta Suryanarayanamurthy and Bavisetti Narayanaswamy who were spearheading the farmers' stir complained that though the District Collector and the SP had given them permission to meet the Chief Minister, police removed them by force.
