Another humid day in Delhi; rain, thundershowers likely from tonight
New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) Humid weather prevailed in Delhi for the second day today even as the weatherman has forecast rain and thunderstorms in the city from tonight.
With the Sun continuing to shine clear and bright, warm and humid conditions were experienced in the city even though the humidity levels fell slightly to 73 per cent.
The maximum temperature was recorded one degree above normal at 34.8 Degrees Celsius.
The coming days could witness a return to cooler weather with the weatherman forecasting some rain and thunderstorms in the city from tonight.
Heavy rainfall activity was predicted in Delhi and other parts of Northwest India in the next two to three days under the influence of an upper air cyclonic circulation lying over East Uttar Pradesh.
The met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with rain and thundershowers likely in some areas from tonight.
