Two Maoist gunned down, arms recovered in Hazaribagh
Hazaribagh, Aug 19 (UNI) Two Maoists, including a self-styled platoon commander, were killed in an encounter with police in Budubatuka forest in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district.
One of the slain ultras was identifed as Vinod Munda of Endagir while the other was taken away by the outlaws, police said.
Acting on a tip off the security forces comprising CRPF jawans, Special Task Forces and district police raided the area late last night.
Police recovered about Rs 171,750, an SLR, two rifles, more than 200 live cartridges and Maoist literature from the spot.
