Two CPI (Maoist) ultras gunned down in Hazaribagh
Hazaribagh, Aug 19 (UNI) Two ultras of the proscribed CPI (Maoist) outfit were gunned down by security forces in an encounter in Budubatuka forest under Keredari police station area in this district.
Police said here today that acting on a tip-off, the security forces, comprising jawans of Central Reserve Police Force, Special Task Force and district police, raided the area late last night and gunned down two rebels.
The process to identify them was on, police said, adding that two rifles, huge amount of live cartridges and naxal literature were recovered from the spot.
Senior police officers have rushed to the spot.
