Tributes paid to Shanker Dayal Sharma on 90th birth anniv

New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) Vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today paid homage to former President Shanker Dayal Sharma on his 90th birthday anniversary.

The late President's wife Vimla Sharma also paid floral tributes to the late leader at his samadhi 'Karma Bhoomi'.

A wreath was also placed on behalf of President Pratibha Patil.

Home Minister Shivraj Patil, Madhya Pradesh Mining Minister Lakshmikant Sharma were among those who paid floral tributes to the former president.
