Karunakaran's health condition satisfactory
Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 19 (UNI) Veteran Congress leader K Karunakaran, who has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital for the past one week, was today shifted to the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Science and Technology here.
His health condition was quite satisfactory and there was nothing to worry about, Medical Superintendent S J Douglas Linsby told UNI.
Mr Karunakaran was admitted to the hospital this morning from the private hospital, where he was undergoing treatment for the past one week after his breathing became laboured.
The former State Chief Minister, was exhausted due to the depletion of sodium level in his blood and the doctors, including neuro surgeons, were attending on him and taking steps to bring the level normal, Mr Linsby added.
