ITC Infotech acquires Pysix Solutions
Bangalore, Aug 19: ITC Infotech, a global IT company and a fully owned subsidiary of ITC on Tuesday, Aug 19 announced that it had completed acquisition of Pyxis solutions, LLC, a US-based niche player offering quality assurance (QA)solutions and testing service. The all cash deal is valued at 28 million dollars, company Managing Director Sanjiv Puri told reporters here.
Pyxis offers a full spectrum of services in software QA, ranging from user-interface testing to qa process improvement, he said. Their services also include qa management and consulting, quantitative analysis testing and data validation testing, he said. He said Pyxis had been working with leading companies in the banking financuial services and insurance (BFSI) industry and has developed deep expertise in offering customised solutions.
''The strategic acquision is an important milestone for us. It is a manifestation of our commitment to deepen capabilities and create enduring value for our coustomers,'' he said.
