Trials for Jr National Aquatic Championships on Aug 20

Chandigarh, Aug 18 (UNI) To select the Chandigarh Swimming Team for the 35th Junior National Aquatic Championships, the trials would be held here on August 20 at Nursery Swimming Pool, Sector 23-D.

The National Championship would be held from Aug 31 to September 4 at Amritsar.

This was decided in the meeting of the Adhoc Selection Committee (Swimming) under the Chairmanship of SM Sharma.

Mr Sharma, informed that those swimmers who desire to take part in the trials should get their names registered directly at Nursery Swimming Pool on Aug 20 at 0900 hrs.

The boys and girls who have been participating from other States during the previous years will have to secure No Objection Certificate from those state associations before their selection into Chandigarh Team.
