Suven gets CEP for Tamsulosin Hydrochloride

Hyderabad, Aug 18 (UNI) Suven Life Sciences Limited today announced it has been granted the first Certificate of Suitability (CEP) by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM) for its API product Tamsulosin Hydrochloride.

The European Directorate is one of the major institutions involved in the regulation and quality control of medicinal products authorized for use in Europe and overseas.

This CEP will simplify and make easier the registration procedures of Suven's customers.

The CEP certifies the compliance of a material with requirements laid down in the relevant monograph of the European Pharmacopoeia (EP) the API for which the certificate has been granted is suitable for use in medicinal products, a press release here said.
