Prez, VP greet people on eve of Navroze

New Delhi, Aug 18 (UNI) The President and the Vice-President today greeted the Parsi community on the eve of the Zorastrian New Year.

In her message, President Pratibha Devisingh Patil said, ''On the occasion of Navroz, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all our people, especially to the Parsi brothers and sisters.'' ''May this festival heralding the New Year bring happiness and prosperity to all and strengthen our commitment to harmony and universal brotherhood.'' Vice-President Hamid Ansari in his message said, ''Navroze is celebrated with devotion, traditional gaiety and fervour to usher in a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
