PM asks all right thinking people to restore peace in J
New Delhi, Aug 18 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today appealed to all ''right thinking'' people and political parties to work together for restoring peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir.
In an informal chat with reporters in Parliament complex after attending the swearing-in ceremony of noted economist C Rangarajan and former Karnataka chief minister S M Krishna as Rajya Sabha members, the Prime Minister said everyone had an obligation and it was not a matter concerning any political party.
Dr Singh's comments came on a day when separatist outfits are planning a march to a UN office in Srinagar while those spearheading the Amarnath agitation are ready to court arrest in Jammu.
