More rain expected in Patna and elsewhere in Bihar

Patna, Aug 18 (UNI) After a day's respite, heavy showers lashed Patna and its neighbourhod early today, reducing the overall temperature marginally.

The local Met office said during the past 24 hours the city experienced 18.3 mm of rainfall, which had reduced the day's maximum temperature by about one degree to 31.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum stood at 26.3 degrees Celsius.

Forecasting more rain or thundershowers later tonight and tomorrow, the weather office said during the next 24 hours the sky would remain overcast.

The overall humidity level also varied between 85 and 90 per cent today.
