Left in Bihar prepare for August 20 industrial bandh

Patna, Aug 18 (UNI) The Coordination Committee of five Left parties in Bihar met here today to prepare their action plan for all round success of the nationwide industriasl strike on August 20.

Speaking to newsmen after holding a meeting in connection with the successful implementation of the strike, senior state CPI(M) leader Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi said they were planning to bring out a 'torch light' procession here and in every district headquarters on the eve of the bandh tomorrow to make the people aware of the usefulness of their protest.

''We are also planning to meet serior representatives of Bihar Chamber of Commerce(BCC), members of diffrent transport associations and other business community asking for their support in next Wednesday's strike,'' Mr Vidyarthi said.

Those, who attended today's meeting, were the representatives of CPI-M, CPI, Forward Bloc, RSP and Bharatiya Janwadi Forward Bloc.
