Dutta Niwas building collapse toll rises to 22
Mumbai, Aug 18 (UNI) The death toll in the 'Dutta Niwas' building collapse that occurred on August 13 at Bhendi Bazaar, has risen to 22 with one more person succumbing to injuries at J J Hospital here.
According to officials from the disaster management control room of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, 28-year-old Ravindranath Shahu Das, who was injured, died last saturday.
It may be recalled that in the wee hours of August 13, the four-storeyed building collapsed killing 21 people and injuring 26 others.
