Dabur Vatika launches search for 'Koyal of Punjab'

Chandigarh, Aug 18 (UNI) Dabur India today announced the launch of a mega singing and talent hunt contest in Punjab, 'Dabur Vatika Koyal Punjab Di', to find out a new female singing sensation of the state.

Dabur India Brand Manager Girish Pai said here the contest was part of the company's initiative to be connected better with its consumers, and ''sought to empower the young women of Punjab by offering them a chance to showcase their talent on a bigger scale''.

The contest would be held in five cities across Punjab -- Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Patiala and Jalandhar.

The contest is open for girls only from Punjab and the five finalists from these cities will come together for the Grand Finale to be held in Chandigarh on September 28.

''The winner would get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to become the on-air singing sensation on a popular private FM radio station,'' Dabur Sales Head (Northern Region) Adarsh Sharma said.

Dabur also announced the launch of its range of Vatika conditioners, in two variants -- Vatika Smooth and Silky Conditioner and Vatika Root Strengthening Conditioner.
