Rs 3,000 counterfeit notes seized, woman nabbed

Lucknow, Aug 17 (UNI) Police today apprehended a woman for possessing counterfeit Indian currency, worth Rs 3,000, from Badaun district in Uttar Pradesh.

Reports from the state police headquarters stated that the woman was having fake notes of Rs 500 denomination.

On interrogation, the woman revealed that she was proceeding towards New Delhi.

The accused has been sent to jail.
