NCP to launch agitation against vacation of Kushwaha residence
Patna, Aug 17 (UNI) The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Bihar unit, today announced a two-day state-wide agitation from tomorrow in protest against alleged forcible vacation of the official residence of party president Upendra Kushwaha by the district administration earlier in the day.
Party spokesman Mritunjay Kumar alleged the Nitish Kumar government had forcibly vacated the residence of Mr Kushwaha due to poltical vendetta.
''Several former MLAs continue to occupy the official residence despite losing the assembly election three years back,'' he said, adding Mr Kushwaha was targeted by the administration as he was criticising the failure of the government.
