Mild quake in Indian Ocean

{image-indian ocean_16082008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, Aug 13: A moderate intensity quake of 5.0 magnitude hit Carlsberg Ridge area in the Indian Ocean on Saturday, Aug 16 afternoon. The tremors were felt at 1256 hours, the India Meteorological department said. The epicentre of the quake was at 05.9 degrees North latitude 61.5 degrees East longitude. No casualties were reported.
