JD(U) dares RJD to sue its leaders on 'land for job' charges

Patna, Aug 16 (UNI) Senior JD(U) leader and State Water Resources Minister Vijendra Yadav today dared the RJD to file defamation suit against the JD(U) leaders for releasing the documents related to the alleged involvement of RJD supremo and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad in ''job for land scam'' in the Railways.

Mr Yadav told reporters here that some beneficiaries had admitted that they had donated land to the family members of Mr Prasad in exchange of jobs in the Railways.

The documents released by the JD(U) leaders recently also vindicated the charge levelled against the Railway Minister, he added.

Welcoming RJD leader Yogendra Prasad Yadav who joined the JD(U) today, the water resources minister said several leaders from RJD would join the JD(U) in coming days.

Ridiculing the claim of Mr Prasad that the ''Yadav community'' was solidly behind the RJD, he said, ''The Railway Minister is living in illusion.'' Altogether 51 MLAs of NDA are from the ''Yadav community'', he said adding the perception of the RJD supremo would vanish during the coming Lok Sabha elections.
