Doctors attack rival doctors
Seoni(MP), Aug 16(UNI) Festering professional rivalry took an ungly turn when a private hospital's doctor and his associates attacked and injured two doctors of another hospital here, police said.
Rivalry was also related with partnership among doctors of Seoni Hospital and Research Centre and Chirayu Hospital and Research Centre, police said.
Dr Sanjay Singh, Kuldip Singh, Pradeep and three others of Seoni hospital reached Chirayu hospital late Thursday night and attacked Dr S K Baghel and Dr Jai Sahore who were on duty with sharp-edged weapons. Both injured were admitted to the district hospital.
Cases have been registered against five people, including doctors, under sections 148, 147 and 324 IPC, police added.
