Cops down with malaria
Shivpuri, MP, Aug 16 (UNI) A constable of this district's Bamhari Police Station has been claimed by malaria while four personnel, including the station house officer (SHO), were gravely ill with the same ailment.
Constable Raghavendra died last night while undergoing treatment at Gwalior. SHO Raveendra Sikarwar was hospitalised here last night.
Three constables were undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
''The four constables were seriously unwell since the past couple of days,'' said Sub-Divisional Officer (Police) Neeraj Pande. The police station is located in a forest of a dacoity-affected area.
