27-yr-old woman commits suicide

Pune, Aug 16 (UNI) A 27-year-old woman, admitted to the government run Sassoon Hospital here, allegedly committed suicide today by jumping from the third floor of the hospital building.

Police said Asha Sathe, who was suffering from brain tumour, was undergoing treatment in the hospital. She ended her life early this morning.

Sathe, a resident of Wadarwadi of Pune, was admitted to the hospital a week ago, police said. After conducting post-mortem at the same hospital, the body was handed over to her husband, police added.
