Two killed, 6 injured in road accident in Punjab
Amritsar, Aug 15 (UNI) Two people were killed and six injured when their jeep collided head-on with a truck near Waryam Nangal village on the Amritsar-Pathankot highway in the district today.
Police sources said the collision took place when the jeep was overtaking another vehicle. It smashed into the truck coming from the opposite direction.
The injured were admitted to a private hospital here. The police has registered a case against the truck driver and has impounded the vehicle, they added.
