Heavy to very heavy rains likely at Ghat areas

Pune, Aug 15 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Ghat areas during the next 48 hours.

Heavy rainfall is also likely to occur at isolated places in all the districts of south Madhya Maharashtra, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg during the same period, according to weather forecast for Maharashtra, excluding Vidarbha and Goa.

Moderate to rather heavy rainfall is likely to occur at many places over all the districts of Konkan, Goa, south Madhya Maharashtra and Ghat areas. Moderate rainfall is likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of north Madhya Maharashtra.

Light to moderate rains are likely to occur at a few places in all the districts of Marathwada.

Outlook: Little change.
