Buddhist temple in Dehradun attracts tourists
Dehradun, August 14, 2008 : A Buddhist temple at Clement Town in Dehradun is attracting tourists from all over the country due to its matchless wall paintings, depicting the life events of Lord Buddha.
This structure, which was built in 1965, is a replica of a monastery in Tibet. It engaged about 50 artists who took almost three years to paint the walls of the structure with gold paint.
