Bindra arrives in India

New Delhi, August 14, 2008 : Abhinav Bindra, India's first Olympian to win individual gold medal in Olympiad touches native shores on Thursday amidst rousing welcome after his success in shooting gold in the men's 10m air rifle competition in the Beijing Olympics 2008.

His sister Divya was ecstatic about Abhinav"s success and is planning to gift him a silver replica of the gun on 'Rakhi'. Abhinav will meet President Pratibha Patil and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Thursday.
