Two crore robbery at Chartered Accountant's residence
New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) Four armed men robbed a Chartered Accountant of Rs two crore at his Mandavali residence in East Delhi.
No arrests have been made so far, police said.
According to the FIR, the incident took place at about 1830 hrs yesterday, when Rs two crore payment/collection had been made at his residence.
While, Bhushan was sitting with his four employees and the money had been stuffed into two bags, two armed men barged in and demanded the money, while two others stood guard outside.
They later downed the shutter and decamped along with the money in a car, which was waiting outside.
The robbers carried country-made weapons and knives.
Police said the matter was reported at about 2300 hrs, nearly four hours after the incident, which was raising doubts about the 'robbery' as the 'victim' had mobile phones and could have informed almost immediately.
However, a case has been registered and investigations were on, it added.
