Surveyor arrested for accepting bribe

Bangalore, Aug14(UNI) Lokayukta sleuths arrested a Second Division Surveyor of Alur taluk for accepting a bribe for showing official favour.

A Lokayukta press release said that Second Division Surveyor A B Somshekharappa in the taluk Survey Office had demanded Rs 1,000 as a bribe to furnish documents and extracts of sketch to Shivaiah.

Yesterday, the Lokayukta police in a well laid trap caught A B Somashekharappa red handed while accepting the bribe.
