Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.82 per US Dollar
Mumbai, Aug 14 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US dollar at Rs 42.82 per unit, up by 15 paise, against yesterday's rate of Rs 42.67 per dollar.
The reference rate for Euro rose by 12 paise and quoted at Rs 63.83 per unit from it last day's close of Rs 63.71 per unit, a release issued by RBI said.
The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted down at Rs 80.0177 (80.9237) per Pound and Rs 39.14 (39.24) per 100 units respectively.
