PMK Leader flays Karunanidhi for opportunistic politics

Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, Aug 14 (UNI) Continuing his tirade against DMK President and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, PMK Founder-Leader S Ramadoss today described him as the 'pithamahan' (patriarch) of opportunistic politics.

Speaking to reporters at his Thailapuram Residence in this district, Dr Ramadoss, referring to Mr Karunanidhi's alleged remarks after the party was removed from the DMK-led Democratic Progressive Alliance (DPA), claimed that it was the PMK which was responsible for the DMK winning Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

Dr Ramadoss charged that if Mr Karunanidhi liked a party, he would ensure it became its ally after giving suitable explantion.

Similarly, if he wanted it out, he would give another explanation.

''He (Dr Karunanidhi) is the 'pithamahan' (patriarch) of opportunistic politics. If he dislikes a party, he will ensure its ouster. Similarly, if he thinks otherwise, he will invite the same party to his alliance after giving suitable explanation. This is Mr Karunanidhi,'' Dr Ramadoss alleged.
