Injured admitted in Kailash hospital to get free treatment: MD

Noida, Aug 14 (UNI) Dr Mahesh Sharma, MD of Kailash Hospital Noida, today announced free treatment to the injured admitted to the hospital after the fierce farmer-police clash yesterday.

Four farmers were killed and at least 15 policemen and 45 farmers were injured in the clash outside the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority office.

The farmers were demanding enhanced compensation for their land acquired after 2005.

About 50 of the injured were rushed to the Kailash Hospital, while others were admitted to other hospitals.

The injured policemen included senior police official R K Chaturvedi, SP Traffic Ajay Sahdev, Kuldeep Singh and Surajpur station in-charge S K Dubey.
