CCEA clears Rs 1,100cr Nirmal Gram Puraskar scheme
New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs today cleared inclusion of Nirmal Gram Puraskar under the total sanitation campaign, allocating Rs 1,100 crore in the Eleventh Plan for this purpose.
The scheme, which is a continuation of the campaign in the XIth Plan with revision in costs of individual household latrines, was announced by Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram after a meeting of the CCEA this morning.
