15 killed as Kashmir land row boils

Jammu/ Srinagar, August 13, 2008 : For the first time in 13 years, the entire Kashmir Valley was under curfew after escalating violence left another 13 people dead in firing by security forces. Two people were killed in Jammu region in clashes between the two communities. The Bharatiya Janata Party also staged demonstration in New Delhi demanding restoration of the Shrine Land.
