Shop-owner murdered in Sangli

Sangli, Aug 13 (UNI) A shop-owner was brutally murdered at the vasant market yard early today, police said.

The 55-year-old trader was hit with a sharp weapon on his head. The deceased Murgappa Bandee, hailing from Karnataka, was running the shop since 1995.

Police have arrested three people, all ex-employees of Bandee.

However, the motive for the crime was yet to be estabhished.
