Peaches Geldof's snap 15-minute wedding with rocker beau in L A

London, Aug 13 : Peaches Geldof has married rocker boyfriend Maxwell Drummey in a hush-hush ceremony in Las Vegas.

The 19-year-old daughter of Sir Bob Geldof exchanged wedding vows with her 23- year-old boyfriend last week in a quick 15-minute ceremony.

According to a statement released by Geldof's publicist, the wedding was a "quiet, low-key ceremony."

"The couple tied the knot in a simple low-key ceremony in Las Vegas last week, whilst holidaying in America," The Sun quoted her rep, as saying.

"Their marriage has the full support of their family and friends. Peaches and Max did not want unnecessary publicity, but following growing media speculation, have decided to set out the facts," the rep added.

Rev Steven Fabretti, who performed the ceremony, said that the couple looked very young

"They held hands and looked eye-to-eye - with him still wearing sunglasses - during the ceremony," he said

"They looked very happy together. I remember the bride looked very young and pale and quite angelic.

"They didn't bring any friends as witnesses, so the photographer had to stand in.

"I asked them each if they agreed to love and cherish each other and they said, 'I do'. It was over in 15 minutes. The bride changed out of her wedding dress right away - then they left. The groom wasn't dressed up at all."

Peaches met the indie band Chester French member year ago buy their romanced blossomed just two months ago.
