Motorbike expedition flagged off to promote adventure

New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Murli Deora today flagged off a motorbike expedition, endeavouring to promote the spirit of adventure, ecological consciousness and exploration of nature.

Speaking on the occasion here, Mr Deora said, ''This voyage has inherent theme of forging friendships while overcoming challenges. It is my wish and hope that this expedition will forge a closer bond with the people of the Himalayas, promoting national integrity and spreading the message of peace all the way.'' The expedition, from IndianOil company operated service station to Marsimik La via Leh, was organised by the Bikers for Integration and Conservation of Environment.

Director of Human Resource, IndianOil V C Agrawal was present among other top officials of the company.
