Lalu announces introduction of new train between Hospet and Patna

Hospet, Karnataka, Aug 13 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav today announced introduction of a direct train between Hospet and Patna.

"Air conditioned 'Garib Rath' train would be introduced between the two cities soon", he added.

Mr Yadav was speaking after inaugurating a new Hotel built by a Mine owner here.

Listing out the achievements of United Progressive Alliance government, Mr Yadav said that the decision to go ahead with Indo-US nuclear pact would enable the country in overcoming the power shortage at present faced by the country. "The deal would result in country achieving enormous progress in power sector," he added.

He said that the UPA government has created numerous infrastructure facility in the Telecom, Railway and key sectors.
