Bank Employees' Forum calls country-wide strike on Aug 20

Kolkata, Aug 13 (UNI) The All India Bank Employees' Unity Forum CAIBEUF today said all banks in the country would observe strike on August 20 to coincide with All India Industrial strike to protest outsourcing and privatisation of public sector units.

AIBEUF's general secretary J Raymandal in a statement said the bank employees have been demanding recruitment of staff, pension benefit, and opposed privatisation and merger of banks.
