Vice Admiral Contractor discusses marine security with CM

Gandhinagar, Aug 11 (UNI) Indian Coast Guard Director General Naval Vice Admiral R F Contractor today called on Chief Minister Narendra Modi and discussed marine security issues in Gujarat with him.

The Vice Admiral welcomed the state government's approach regarding border security and discussed the ways in which cooperation with state government can be strengthened on coastal security and security of fishermen.

Mr Modi appreciated the cooperation being extended by the Navy and coast guards in maintaining coastal security in the state.
