Two CRPF personnel drown in Jehlum

Srinagar, Aug 11: Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel drowned in river Jehlum at Sopore, in north Kashmir, official sources said on Monday, Aug 11.

They said two CRPF personnel constable Vinay Kumar and Kundan Lal were taking a bath in river Jehlum at Negli, Sopore, when they drowned.

They could not be rescued by the people who jumped into the river, they said adding that the body of Kundan Lal was fished out while search for the body of Kumar was going on.
