Justice Tirath Singh Thakur sworn-in as High Court CJ

Chandigarh, Aug 11 (UNI) Mr Tirath Singh Thakur was sworn-in as the Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court here today.

Mr Justice Thakur was administered the oath of allegiance to Indian Constitution by Haryana Governor A R Kidwai.

Punjab Governor Lt. Gen (retd) S F Rodrigues, Union Minister of state for Finance Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal, Punjab and Haryana Chief Ministers Parkash Singh Badal and Bhupender Singh Hooda were also present on the occasion alongwith top officials of both the states.
