Haryana CM announces Rs 25 lakh award to Bindra
Chandigarh, Aug 11 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has announced a cash reward of Rs 25 lakh to Abhinav Bindra for his gold medal winning feat in the men's 10 metre air rifle event at Beijing Olympics today.
In a statement issued here today, the Chief Minister also congratulated the ace shooter for his significant achievement, which has brought India its first gold in Beijing.
