BJP leaders arrested during rally

Gandhinagar, Aug 11 (UNI) Senior Gujarat BJP leaders, MLAs and other workers today took out a rally towards Raj Bhawan here to press their demand of a return of land in Jammu and Kashmir to Amarnath Shrine Board, but were arrested before reaching there.

In response to central BJP leadership's decision to launch a three-day nationwide agitation on the issue, Gujarat BJP leaders and workers took out the rally to submit a memorandom to the Governor.

However, police arrested them before they reached Raj Bhawan.

Those arrested include 25 MLAs and senior leaders of the state unit.
