Two jawans drown in Dhansiri river
Kohima, Aug 10 (UNI) Two newly recruited jawans of Assam Rifles drowned in the Dhansiri river near Dimapur area here on friday.
Their bodies were recovered last evening.
Official sources said here today that that following an FIR filed by 8th Battalion of Assam Rifles, a joint search operation with the police was taken up since Friday.
Identified as Ajay Singh (18) from Manipur and Ranjit Konwar from Sivsagar in Assam the duo went to bath in Dhansiri river.
