Punjab Police probe into 'missing' students on US trip
Hoshiarpur, Aug 10 (UNI) The Punjab Police has ordered an investigation into the alleged 'disappearance' of four students of a school during an educational trip to the United States (US).
The investigation has been ordered on the complaint lodged by the principal of Doaba Public School ine Parowal village. The principal, Mrs Balwinder Kaur in her complaint has stated that the four students who went 'missing' in the US were amongst 15 others besides a teacher who had gone an educational trip to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) on July 21 on a three month valid visa.
Disclosing this to mediapersons here today, SSP Sukhchain Singh Gill said that the probe will be conducted by the DSP of Garhshankar.
Dr Gill said that though the students had gone missing in the United States during their educational trip to NASA, even then on the complaint of the Principal of the school he had decided to conduct a probe to look into the matter. " We will share information with the US police on this incident", he added.
