Partly cloudy sky with rain predicted
Kolkata, Aug 10 (UNI) The local Met office today predicted a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower in the next 24 hours. It said there will be no significant change in maximum and minimum temperature which would hover around 31 and 27 degrees Celcius respectively.
The weatherman registered todays maximum temperature at 31.8 degrees Celcius, while the minimum was pegged at 26.9 degrees Celcius, one degree above normal.
The Met officials also informed that rain or thundershower was likely to occur at many places over Gangetic as well as Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
The rainfall during the past 24 hours was recorded at 4.7 mm.
