Meet JoJo who said 'no no' to 'Hannah Montana' role

New York, Aug 10 : American R and B and pop singer songwriter Joanna "JoJo" Levesque has revealed that she had been asked to play the role of Disney darling Hannah Montana, but she turned it down.

Even though most would regret not taking up the role that has made young Miley Cyrus an overnight singing sensation, JoJo says she has no regrets. "No regrets. No regrets at all," New York Daily quoted her, as saying.

"Yeah, they offered me the role...[But] it's not really what I see for myself," she added.

JoJo, whose self-titled album went platinum in 2004, is now starring in the Lifetime series "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet."
