IBM employee raped; case registered

Pune, Aug 9 (UNI) Police today registered a case against unidentified person for allegedly raping an IBM call centre empolyee here.

The relative of the victim Hansraj Bherme has registered the case in the Loni Kalbhor police station, senior police Inspector Rajendra Rasal told UNI.

According to the complaint some unidentified persons entered the girl's room when she was sleeping alone on August 7.

The victim was immediately rushed to a private hospital but doctors there referred her to a government hospital to get the exact detail medical report, Rasal said.

Police visited to the government run Sassoon hospital where she was being treated.

He said the victim is still unconscious.

No one has been arrested so far, police said.
