Derailment on Jogindernagar-Pathankot section, traffic halted
Dharamshala, Aug 10 (UNI) Four bogies of a passenger train today derailed near Patti village on the Pathankot-Jogindernagar narrow-gauge section leading to suspension of traffic.
Confirming the derailment, railway authorities said that a passenger in one of the derailed bogies received minor injuries and was discharged from a hospital after first aid. The train was bound for Jogindernagar from Pathankot.
Railway officials said that traffic on the track was suspended at 1415 hours soon after the derailment. Efforts are on to put the derailed bogies back on track but railway officials said that traffic is likely to be resumed sometime tomorrow morning.
The reasons for the derailment are not known yet.
