Warm, humid weather returns to Delhi, mercury rises to 34 Deg C
New Delhi, Aug 9 (UNI) Warm and humid weather conditions returned to the Capital today, raising the mercury in the city to 34 degrees Celsius.
A day after heavy rainfall in the city lend some coolness to the air, the reappearance of the bright Sun and a high humidity level of 98 per cent, led to a slight increase in the humid conditions.
The maximum temperature rose to 34 Degree Celsius. The minimum was recorded at 25.1 Degree C, one degree below normal.
After a heavy rain over the last couple of day, it was a rainless day today.
The lull in rain is likely to continue tomorrow with weatherman predicting some thundry developments in the city during the next 24 hours.
The Met office has also forecast a partly cloudy sky in the Capital during the next 24 hours.
Delhi recorded some heavy rainfall over the last few days, which brought the mercury down sharply in the city and provided some relief to the people.
